Guys, I've taken a Hwy 1 that was some kind of nasty looking and refinished it in automotive lacquer---just like Leo used to do it. I've had this guitar tested and approved by one of our local professional musicians. It's finished in burnt copper metalspeck. The metal only shows up when the light hits it. Think stage lights or sunlight. The neck is maple/maple with slight fret wear. The set up needs to be professionally done. I used my limited skills to straighten the neck and set the intonation. I just don't know how to set saddle/nut/pickup height. The electronics are Fender hot vintage noiseless. Same as Jeff Beck. The pickup covers now are the more aged looking "noiseless" logo variety (not in the photo.) So, I can give you parchment knobs (photo) or vintage cream knobs. I have both. The machines are vintage and I've added Fender straplocks. Whammy bar is included although I've set up the trem to lay flat. Oh yeah, it comes with a well-worn tweed case. Asking $780. Make an offer. I can't buy my Thinline until this guitar finds a new home! 615-310-8003
