No laughing here! I really enjoyed it! You have a sort of 60's 'British Invasion' vibe going on there. Very nice!

Thanks guys. Two of our members are still playing professionally and they carried the rest of us. I have been told that my song writing is stuck back in the 60's. We did a total of 12 songs and when I have time I'll add them too. I wrote 2 of the 12 songs. The other one is more rocky. The name is I want 69 . Bbefore you go jumping to assumptions I graduated in 1969.

Good song Phil, very catchy chorus. I can hear the '60s influence loud and clear. ;D Nothing wrong with that, most of the music I listen to (despite the best efforts of HJ) is from the '60s or before.

I have tried to drag him kicking and screaming into the 70s never mind any of this newfangled "beat combo" music they play these days

I did sing 69 but a good friend did all the other vocals. Back in high school they wouldn't let me sing. We did some really good versions of some cover songs that I will try and get on the site later. I don't think we sound too bad since we get together only every 5 years for our reunions. I did most of the rythum parts and only a few short lead parts. Back in High school we also had a really cute keyboard player and the CD really misses her parts.

Why wouldn't they let you sing? You have a great voice! Great stuff for only jamming together every five years! You guys would be dangerous if you jammed on a regular basis!

You're very kind. Our cover songs are really the best songs and I will get them up later. Back when I was 16-18, I could only do three things at a time. Chew gum and play the quitar and stand there without falling down. Singing would have put things out of ballance. Plus we had 4 really good singers at that time including the organ player. They are very fond memories for me. Any one who has been in goups when they are young know what I mean. So you guys just learning to play keep at it.

It's a family thing (he and his kids), and they are very popular around here. They are all great musicians, and his oldest son (lead guitar), has told me that whenever my son (only 5) is ready, that he can teach him how to play. Who knows, maybe my son will be in their band someday.
