Hi, here are some sound clips of my two Semi Hollow bodies: an Epiphone Sheraton and a Hohner SE 35. Both made in Korea. I would like to know which guitar you all think has the best tone/sound, ignoring the rubbish guitar playing naturally. www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandid=1051345"> All recordings were made with the same amp /amp settings and the same settings on each guitar. Look forward to seeing your votes and reading your opinions.

Although they sound very similar, I think the Epi has a little more fidelity. A little more musical tone. Just ever so slight, but it could be that I lust over the Sheraton. ;D

Guitar A sound smuch better on the lower notes but B sounds better on the higher ones...
Overall I'd say guitar A.

I voted 'B', but I meant to vote 'A' (not paying attention when I clicked on the mouse). Anyway, to me, the overall volume of guitar 'B' seemed lower in all the clips, except for the last pair. In the last pair of clips, both guitars sounded really good, but guitar 'A' sounded a little 'fuller' tone-wise.

Personally I think guitar B is more suitable for your blues

B was alittle clearer to me. A was a fuller sound but maybe just a little muddy. They are both good sounding guitars and if I hadn't heard them side by side, could not tell the difference. But what do I know, I am old and hard of hearing.

Both sounded very close in the upper register but I really like the chunky bottom end on A. B was too thin IMHO.

I prefer guitar A tone seems more full and richer than the thinner brighter sound of guitar B.
