I think Andy is right as I noticed that when I posted this topic.
Its funny as why would someone go out and buy a £600 guitar as a gift without consulting the person who was receiving it, its not as though its a cd, that is a lot of money for a gift.
Plus the trade in value would be 300 at least so why not trade it in.
