This little Samick Tele is hot rodded with Fender pick ups, upgraded tuners and a string thru body conversion. Good starter tele. This is a Raven West 570T-KD neck thru tele. It plays well and has a lot of nice woods. Bound neck is nice and smooth on the fret edges. It has an ebony fretboard and 1/4" thick macassar ebony top. Neck and rest of body are mahogany/koa. This guitar will be receiving a high gloss clear coat finish in the future. The satin just doesn't do it justice. I may look for gold hardware as well, I think t hat wouldd dress it up nice. And my favorite tele, a warmoth custom tele. A Fender wide range humbucker and a seymour duncan vintage bridge pickup. AAAAA quilted maple top. The body also has the belly cut on the back and the arm relief cut similar to a strat. The humbucker is too tame for me though, I think I might try a P90 in their. She has a new white pearloid pickguard on the way...

Thank you Lesblues. It is red with a nice lighter colored rosewood neck. I'm curious why you ask...

Thanks as well whiskyhotel. I'll slip in a few others as we go along... Here's my Vantage Avenger 355 from the famous Matsumoku plant in Japan. Both pups are splittable on this one.

I thought that must have been the case but didn't want to ask...looks like a deal cooking on a Vantage bass similar to t he one in the pic above. Will be trading a Harmony black strat copy. heres a pic of another Matsumoku Japanese guitar from the mid eighties called a Quest, a sub line of the Vantage. These Mats guitars are outstanding quality for the price you can get them for. This Quest is a neck thru with 24 frets. Brass knobs, super heavy duty bridge and exceptionally good tuners. Gotoh pick ups sound unique...in a good way.

I think it will depend on your monitor/graphics card for that pic. Its hard to see the special part of the guitar. I will try another pic here: Now you can see what makes this Strat special...recognize it?

This one has 3... sweet aaah know I can see it It is a Fender VG strat Not three tone controls Mohi, actually only one The extra controls are for the modelling control because you can model different guitars and the other control is for tuning. The extra pick that looks like a white pick up is a Roland GK pick up that allows the modelling capability Nice collection 81Blackta lovin the custom tele but not so sure about the pointy guitars ;D

Well done HappyJack. You were in the right ballpark Mohicanas. Not many of those were produced. I bet if I asked again in 7 or 8 years the right answer might take longer to surface. Its one of my favourites. The pointy one was another to add to my Mats collection and a rare one at that. I would buy almost anything from the factory...better return than mutual funds... Heres another one guys...can you put a name on this one?? Heres a hint, its not made in China...but some are.
