Just bought one of these. ;D Fender Superchamp XD And very nice it is too. Never been convinced on the Blackstar cleans although it is great at crunch. Also got a second hand EHX double muff at the same time. Only muff I will be getting 15w all valve through a 10" speaker but I think I will make a switch box and put through it my Blackstar 10" cabs

Nice amp! I only have my Fender Champ 600, but I'm sold on the Fender brand for amps. You can't go wrong with a Fender amp. Congrats and enjoy! EDIT: Re: your muff comment - you're not the only one!

OK I have had a few hours playing with this little amp and I must say I am very impressed. It is a little amp but I promise you it punches way above its weight. It has lovely warm valve sound. It has 2x 6V6 in the power amp stage and DSP (digital) in the preamp stage and then through 1x 12AX7 in a second pre-amp stage Not sure this means the overdrive is modeled or if it comes from overdriving the preamp valve. The overdrive does sound very natural and behaves very much like the Blackstar I bought this mainly to supplement my Blackstar which has great valve overdrive but the cleans are OK but not brilliant. I wanted Fender cleans and boy do you get them. I won't go into all the details but it has 16 amp voices Fender Tweed, Blackface, Hot Rod, a "british" voice, metal, Jazz and acoustic. All are pretty nice not really tried the Metal voice properly. The Acoustic is a model of the Acoustasonic amp and takes some stick in the reviews - but I think people think it should make an electric sound acoustic it doesn't it models an acoustic amp - if you use a semi acoustic it sounds real nice. The models all sound nice without any need to tweak and mess about. I have a Vox AD30 and the models on that require a fair bit of tweaking to get sounding really nice. The dynamics of the amp are superb and it is pretty loud. I think the 10" speaker sounds pretty OK at the volumes I am playing at. It responds very well to changes in guitar volume and picking dynamics Great for a beginner with loads of pretty good effects - 3 different speed delays, 3 reverbs, 2 chorus, 2 vibratone, 3 tremolo some can be used together - which are nice but have very little in the way of adjustment with the exception of level - now personally I don't think this is a bad thing as it is easy to get a reasonable sound with out spending ages messing about. Although a more advanced player may find this a bit of a hindrance - but would a more advanced player not use pedals anyway? To be honest I wasn't bothered about the effects but they are so nice I am actually using them. My only gripe is that you are limited to what effects you can use together but not much of a gripe the good bits far out weigh the bad. The other thing I can't get over is how quiet the bloody thing is except on the high gain stuff it is really quiet very little hiss Overall for £200 it is a bargain and it will top my recommendations list - I can't find anything I don't like about it yet. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

When you have the need for an amp, take a look at the old Music Man (Leo Fender) units. They show up on Ebay and sound fantastic.
Mine has that great 20-years-playing-in-a-smoky-bar odor.
