haha what did you get wully?
The only good thing about picking the pics was I discovered a Jim Dunlop Big Stubby that I think is about 0.60 which is great for playing electric with.

Very nice!. Get a professional setup. Have the tremolo locked down and you'll be good to go. Money well spent.

I am considering getting it done as its going out of tune a bit too quick for me and the bridge is raised which I think is causing the tuning to go out. (Is this right?)

Decided to take the strat back to the shop with a tuning problem. The guy had a look and thinks there was a fault in the bridge which was causing the tuning to drop every so often.
Got a replacement, same guitar and colour and all is well so far.
Did get more GAS when I seen a G&L Legacy for £300 haha

I went to a shop called Scayles, really dont like it. I bought a strap, strap locks, a set of strings and the guitar and he says to me. "Pick a couple of picks as well if you want" yeah any time I've been in there I've been very unimpressed. Never bought anything from them but they don't exactly encourage you. When I bought my first electric, a 2nd hand Tokai Les Paul copy, it was from guitar guitar. I was able to negotiate a discount on the guitar and a lead, they threw in a soft case and some picks. They also matched a price for the amp I bought too. So I know why you prefer to shop there.

haha what did you get wully? . Various brightly coloured picks but the favourite is a grey Jim Dunlop .88mm job. Going back to the big bad city on Thursday so will get some more of them... And maybe a loop station if I can sneak it past the bling police. ( The tuning on my Tele is weird - sometimes the top three strings go sharp over night...I tune them down and all is well for about five mins then they need tuning up again...)

I think they are tight as they are a small shop but they still go the extra mile to keep their customers, I will shop in Guitarguitar from now on as I prefer the staff and the stock. Although I do most of my shopping from the web, Andertons and stringsdirect are good.

I personally dont like them, ordered a couple of things including my Baja and they said it was in stock, took the money and then said the guitar was on order, took me loads of phone calls and emails to get my money back.
Wouldnt shop there at all due to my experiences, plus their equipment isnt as cheap as it is elsewhere on line.
