Ok, fair point I suppose. In my defence I was very young at the time. Anyone remember "everyone was kung fu fighting"? First tune I ever bought. :-)

First tune I ever bought. :-) lol its not that bad, the first song I ever bought was "the chicken song" , closely followed by "star trekking" and "santa claus is on the dole" , as it happens I'd love to try and find the santa claus one It had a great 'B' side

OK I'll fess up...my first 45 was The Osmond Brothers singing "Yo Yo". Man, that Donnie could ROCK!!! ;D But I was only nine. BTW was that Goodies tune serious??? I kind thought it was just goofing about. If it was indeed a serious attempt at a viable cover of Wild Thing then off to south Louisiana with them. ;D PS. Les, you are such a good sport, blessings on ya bro.

Hi Brad The Goodies were a comedy act comparable in someways to The Monty Python team. So the Wild Thing cover was intended as a spoof but never having heard the original at the time and having a very sheltered upbringing :-) I thought it was pretty good.
