... I am pumped. 3rd row, dead middle, in a small, intimate venue w/ a great sound system. I missed out when Emmylou Harris played there recently. That's also the venue I went to see John Prine play. I'm gonna have a great vantage point to see one of my favorite guitar player's fingers during a complete show. Can't wait! Oh, and Vince, I know you're getting a Thorn... feel free to play mine for that show We can work it out I realize that many people don't like country music, but to not see a master musician and guitar player like Vince Gill because of a silly genre/label issue is a huge waste. Don't do that to yourself!

Heard Ian Siegal was playing at the Academy in Manchester, went on the website to get tickets and guess who is supporting him? only Oli bloody Brown ;D Double whammy! then realized it was on a Friday might so that is a triple whammy - no work the next day so it will be rhythm and booze instead of rhythm and blues ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I love going to gigs but don't go to enough these days

Don't do that to yourself! Hey Mojo, I think Vince Gill is great! I also like Emmylou Harris. I like Country music from the time when Vince and Emmylou were really popular. I don't like modern Country music that much. I love stuff from Waylon, Merle, Willie, and some of the older stuff like Bob Wills. Good stuff! Have a good time!

I am still hoping against all hope to somehow find a way to meet the guy when he's in town. I know, won't happen, but it would be a thrill
