After playing the guitar for a while now I have decided I need a new guitar and a few bits and bobs. So this year I have decided to make a list and stick to it. My items that I am saving for are;
A New Electric; G&L Comanche Fender HSS Strat Fender Nashville Tele Fender 72 Tele Deluxe Fender Jaguar HH Fender Roadhouse Strat
Pedals/Effects Vox Valvetronix ToneLab ST Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal
Seymour Duncan HC Pickup - Buying this at the weekend
Recording Shurn/Samson Mic
I have ideally going to pick up the cheaper objects on a monthly basis and get the guitar round about November time.
What is on everyone elses want/needs list?

I actually did a mental list the other day.
The 2010 list goes as follows (at least in January). For the board: Malekko analog delay EH Holy Grail nano Xotic BB Preamp Additional Pedal Power
For the Strat: Trem King TK1 Locking tuners (Gotoh) A Buzzy job
For the Taylor: preamp/DI
Guitars: Alder body Tele ES175
And if that doesn't make Mrs. Roadking grumpy then I'll be taking her pulse.

I completed my collection with the Tradition Tele I bought last month, so I don't forsee buying anything guitar related unless I come into some serious cash. I have a house that I want to sell this year, and if that goes through, I might buy a Gibson LP Studio w/ coil splitting. The only reason I might buy one is to see what all the Gibson fuss is about! But, it must have the coil splitting because I am really not a big fan of the, "Gibson Les Paul 'thick' tone", as I like to call it. I might also buy a larger tube amp (Fender or Vox) with more bells and whistles, and there are always the impulse 'Craiglist buys', but only if I am able to sell my house.

Nah. I've been looking through Craigslist figuring people need to pay their Christmas bills right about now. I want a Les Paul Standard but I will NEVER pony up that kind of money so the Studio might make sense for me--someday.

I want a Les Paul Standard but I will NEVER pony up that kind of money so the Studio might make sense for me--someday. Well, thanks for giving me some GAS anyway! I really liked the color of that Studio. I guess this is a good time to get some good Craigslist deals. Unfortunately, I'm broke too, so all I can do is look! Besides, it's hard to find nice guitars in the local Craigslist. I was luck to find my two Epiphones and that Ibanez I didn't buy. As far a Gibsons go, you don't find those here, and if you do, they are FAR more expensive than buying a new one.
