Mine is my Reverend Club King RT or My blue Strat. I really like the look of the Reverend Guitars not very common across in the UK - Do they play as good and sound as good as they look You have just fueled my thin line GAS big time

Go back to bed Blues Yeah ignore us we like to bicker amongst ourselves - it is just like being married but without the sex ;D HA! HA! HA! - That is TOO funny! I agree with you on your 'tone woods' post. I think that's why I decided to get one of each style that I liked. I love all of my guitars, but yeah, they all have a different tone because of the different woods and construction style, including pickups used and configuration. For example, my Ibanez has a mahogany body with two humbuckers that I can split. Even though it's mahogany (but with a maple neck), it doesn't exactly sound like my Les Paul. I prefer the Ibanez over the Les Paul BECAUSE it doesn't sound the same. My other favorite is my Epi Dot because of the semi-hollow construction. That construction allows it to have a unique tone, when compared to the others.

Good info.
Gasman, speaking of semi-hollow, I picked up an Ibanez Artcore from a broke college kid. Daddy like! Very sweet, nice sustain, similar setup to the Dot (I think except I have a Bigsby.)
I buy guitars as much for looks as for sound (got to have good tone) much the same as when I buy a firearm. I love anything that is finely crafted and makes you look good while it is doing its job. Can't say that about a Glock, now can you?

nashvegas, I have a buddy that has an Artcore semi w/bigsby. I like it very much also. Cool vibe about the guitar and it sounds really good. He had a set of Gretch pups installed in his and it made quite a difference. Great guitar esp. for the price. PS. Quit dissing the Glocks dude. It took a long time to get used to mine. ( I've had two) But if functional perfection is beauty then they are masterpieces. Especially with your eyes closed. ;D

I guess I pick up the Epi Dot most - I like the hollowbody sound The Bello(?) classical and the Alvarez 12 stringer only get a bit of attention.

Can't say that about a Glock, now can you? Right before I bought my Tradition Tele, I almost bought an Ibanez Artcore with a Bigsby like the one you have. It was advertised in the local Craigslist. It was a beautiful guitar! If I would have had enough money, maybe I would have bought it too! I actually saw it before I found out about the Tele I eventually bought. I was planning on buying the Artcore but then I went to this tiny music shop (the closest to where I live) to inquire about a ukulele for my son, and I asked the owner if he had any Tele style guitars (I was GASing for one). Well, he showed me the Tradition Tele he had, so I did some research on it via the net, and decided to buy it instead of the Artcore. Financially, it worked out better for me because I was able to trade in my solid state amp towards the purchase of the Tele, but that Artcore is still on my mind as 'the one that got away' . As for the guns, I prefer revolvers over semi-autos, so no comment about the Glock from me. ;D

Yamaha LJX26C acustic. I hunted for an acustic for 6 mo and when a Martin D28 was sold the morning I was going to buy it this Yamaha came into a local store and I fell in love with its full bright mid-tones and saved $1200. I like to pick some being a rythum player at heart and This guitar is just great. Just a side note I have really enjoyed the lessions from Mojo, always great to learn new things. Phil

I sold it to get an Ibaneze 103 BM (bural maple, walnut stain with gold accents, only 250 sold in the US) Very very nice guitar. If you are looking for a semi hollow body you can't go wrong with the AS 73-103 model guitars ;D. Phil

Naw, not really. Most of the folks I know grew up around guns and hunting. I got my first rifle when I was six years old. Both my kids own their own firearms. (22 and 13 years old). And we have a wonderful law that allows those that are willing to pass a stringent background check to carry concealed handguns. It probably saved my butt if not my life one night in Waco. But as far as wild. Not really.

In the UK people who have passed the stringent checks and follow the strict storage rules are NOT allowed to own hand guns anymore Although if you are a drug dealing scumbag you are allowed to carry them seemingly with impunity A few years ago Manchester was dubbed "Gunchester" after all the gang related shootings.
