it's crap if you have to travel but it is nice to walk the dogs in and very pretty - snow that is
We have temperatures as low as -16 here an the last two days it hasn't got above -9
The forecast is more snow at the weekend to add the the 8-9 inches we already have
Traveling is awful as the roads are full of black ice and my 30 mile journey to work down in the main country lanes is awful - thankfully my car is AWD but even that with only normally road tyres is fun to say the least my vehicle skid control thingy has been lighting up like a Christmas tree.

You are truly a tougher man than I. BTW, Texas is a very large place and I'm sure we could find room for you somewhere. Not cold too often but it does get up to around 105 here in the summer but "it's a dry heat".

Hmmmm Texas, sounds better then Cheshire Will I have to buy a very large hat and horse? ;D It isn't like this very often over here it is very unusual - it could be global warming 105 wow pretty hot only experienced temperatures like that when I was on holiday in Kenya. That was a very dry heat. Highest temps over here are probably 80 but it usually humid as well. The highest temp ever recorded in the UK was only 100 All this talk of high temp has made me thirsty I need a nice cold beer now ;D

LOL, No hat and horse necessary! But you will need a Telecaster and a pair of boots. haha. Yes, they are telling us that the reason we are so cold is because of global warming too. Enjoy that ale Jack.

Woo Hoo, only one more morning below freezing this week and then back to the 40s and 50s. Of course it will start raining after that. Oh well, its better than freezing my booty off.

Lucky you I just pulled a 24" long 1-2" thick icicle off my guitar before it pierced the conservatory roof You might have big hats in Texas you don't got icicles like that ;D

Dude, I'm 46 years old and I just had my first white Christmas. You could still see lawn grass sticking up through the snow but it was snow none the less. According to the newscast it was the first one in 86 years.

And we're back into the 70s again. Aaaahhh...much better. We are back at 7 centigrade. The snow has melted and some areas have flooded but not up where I live
