Just as last weeks snow has melted it has started again - snowing and a thunderstorm Just took the dogs on the park they love the snow charging around even more then usual. I am hoping it will be too thick to go back to work on Monday ;D ;D ;D Sitting in the Conservatory now watching the snow with nothing to do but play guitar ;D ;D Mrs Jack off to her mums for the afternoon - in a perfect world she will be snowed in and peace will reign in the Happy Jack household. We still have all the Christmas and New Year booze in so I will be OK until Easter - by the Gin supplies may be low What is it like for you guys up in Scotland? I believe the North East of England is pretty bad

We've had some light snow today, I'm stuck between wanting a big snow ( so i can build a snowman or igloo) and wanting the snow to go ( I've spent £150 on driving lessons for next week, my test is on the 12th )

Probably a good thing to practise in the snow in your instructors car anyway. ;D

It's feezing cold with clear sky here and forecast to be -9 tonight. Today I went into town to get some rock salt from the council depot as the short bit of track to the main road was sheet ice- my car was sliding sideways on it when I parked to spread the grit.....
Every cloud etc.. Since I couldn't do anything outside I spent the afternoon playing (trying to) the guitar so my fingers are now nipping and very close to blistering.
Again...

8 inches last night - snow that is Thank heavens for AWD Thought that was you bragging again for a moment. We had a light dusting of snow overnight which is hiding the thick layer of ice that is over everything. Looking forward to the summer. This snow was lovely for Christmas but it can go away now thank you very much.

Got over 2 inches here last night, my driving lesson was cancelled today , though it's quite warm today and you can feel the ice cracking underfoot.

For the first time in a long while the forecast is for temperatures above freezing - not until Sunday though and back to freezing again Monday...
I am now officially fed up with the freezing weather and my motorbike is getting fed up being stuck in the garage.

Our forecast is freezing temperatures followed by snow, then some blizzards, then some freezing temperatures, high winds and a another blizzard - then it will be Monday and we will all be back at work again - apart from Lesblues who owns most of Fife so doesn't go to work - he might cut some logs up from his forest to sell to the poor people of Edinburgh so they can keep warm ;D
