I wouldn't be too proud of the idiot being in charge of the country being a Scot - we need Guy Fawkes back - or Maggie T ;D That's what I mean. Now time to move away from politics methinks and back to why it's best to be a Scot: We invented - penicillin; antiseptics; lawnmowers; microwave ovens; marmalade; computer games; golf. Anaesthetics Beta-blockers Bicycles Cash credit Colour photography Cotton-reel threads Continuous electric light Criminal finger-printing Decimal points Fax machines Financial services by telephone Fountain pens Electro-magnetism Hollow pipe drainage Hypodermic syringes Insulin Kaleidoscopes Lime cordial Motor insurance Noble gases Paraffin Postage stamps Quinine Radar Reflecting telescopes Retail banking Savings banks Tarmac Ultrasound scanners Universal standard time Vacuum flasks Waterproof mackintoshes Wave-powered electricity generators The Telephone The Television and of course Irn Bru Not bad for a bunch of "drunken porridge eaters" Don't you think. And if Black Americans hadn't beaten us to it we would probably have invented the Blues too. As a result of English subjugation ;D So.... Does that mean you like kevina's guitars? ^^

Hey kevina, I love your guitars, too bad about the Epiphone PR-5, such a nice guitar What made you choose acoustic guitar instead of electro-acoustic again, couse it seems that you have a pretty nice amp right there. Perhaps a fan of pure acoustic sound? I went to the shop looking for either an acoustic or acoustic-electric and it was just that I picked up the dove and nothing else I tried compared to it, felt nice to play, neck fits nice and the balance of the guitar when playing was good. The PR-5 Is a great guitar and was tempted to purchase again. Yeah, born and bred Edinburgh lad here.

I'm planning to get myself a new guitar, but I haven't yet decided if I want acoustic or electro-acoustic... well I will try some of the both while in the shop I guess

After playing the acoustic for a while. I prefer having an electric and an acoustic. If your like me though, you will go to the shop with a list of the ones you want to try and buy but you always get distracted haha
Whats your budget, what you got your eye on?

Not quite sure, but I'll check Yamaha APX500, Takamine EG series, Ibanez AEL10E. my budget is less than 300 euros for the toy. Not sure about pure acoustics, perhaps something from Tanglewood goes to my mind. But as you said, always get distracted ^^

For that budget, I would def check out the PR-5, EJ-200. Both made by Epiphone.
