Got a real John Lee Hooker thang goin' on at the moment but mix The Hook and Robert Cray - Mr Lucky. We are the lucky ones. Robert Cray has got such good tone and he is so understated, no histrionics or huge solos just good cool funk souly blues

You can only get that tone out of a Strat so Robert Cray could be another reason..............

By the way did you like the way he encouraged the new kid on the block to come forward to the mike and then invited the audience to add their encouragement too. Very considerate of the Hook, I thought ;D

He has done a live one with Santana as well Really into JLH at the moment

No, I don't have the one with Van Morrison but I have heard some of it and you are right it is Brilliant. I do have a 4 disc box set which just about covers all of the bases ;D
