Colchar, glad to have you here! Thanks. Glad to be here. I pick it up either this evening or at some point tomorrow. I'll take a couple of pictures once I get it and will post them later this week.

I got her tonight and she's gorgeous!! I'll post some photos later on this week providing, of course, that I can keep my hands off her long enough to take the pictures.

The quality of the photos isn't great because I had to decrease the size of the files in order to post them but, regardless, here they are. Attachments:

Colchar, she's a BEAUTY, that's for sure! Congratulations! Great finish and color! How's the tone and playability compared to the Ibanez? I bet she's a pleasure to play! Enjoy her Man!

Colchar, she's a BEAUTY, that's for sure! Congratulations! Thanks! Making this trade was a great decision as I absolutely love her. I love the rich cherry colour and the finish simply couldn't be better - the amp that is reflected on the guitar in one of the pictures actually sits about six feet away and you can see it clear as day. The tone seems way better than the tone on the Ibanez. That being said, I haven't played around with the tone too much yet so my answer is preliminary at the moment. The sustain on this thing is far better than the sustain on the Ibanez was - notes seem to ring forever in comparison. As for playability - there is simply no comparison between the two as the SG easily wins in that category. She feels great in my hands and, although the Ibanez had a great neck on her, the neck on this SG is so much better. It is also smaller which makes it both easier and more comfortable to play. I found that I would get frustrated with the Ibanez but I simply can't get enough of the SG as she is such a joy to play.

The more you enjoy playing your guitar, the more you WANT to play, and the better you get. Pretty soon, you'll be posting sound clips here like most of the other regulars here (if you notice, I haven't done that yet)!
